GET RID OF THE CHARCOAL
I cannot even believe Charcoal was added to this product. You should realize the original wo Charcoal was absolutely the BEST product on the market. I am 56 years old and have had extremely oily facial skin since I was 13 years old. I have tried so many products over the years. My make up looked amazing when I used the original Shine Killer. I could wear the Shine Killer alone and it would make my skin look amazing. I have had people ask me if I have had work done when I wear the original Shine Killer. Now I cannot wear it alone; as the result is a dirty face. Even under my makeup it is discoloring my make up. How does adding black fix anything? You have ruined your product. You could be best in class with the original Shine Killer.

One time. The makeup it awesome highly recommend stays on great variety of colors. Blurr is the makeup I use over my armoni when needing that extra coverage

Shine Killer is Awesome!
I was extremely upset when the product I was using on areas of my face and scalp was discontinued, but then I found Shine Killer. It works great, I am very happy! I have already recommended it several friends! Please, please never discontinue this product! Thanks!

That’s all I use now!
Since I started using the Shine Kilker, I’ve found that I like how it feels on my skin, and it just gives me a smooth look, that I don’t really use a foundation unless I’m getting real fancy. I don’t leave home without it.

Works well if use use the pore filler first
Glad this video finally came out, but I figured this out on my own. If you don't use the pore filler first, your pores will become black while becomes difficult to conceal. However, I soooo with the clear formula was still available. I like it as a top coat. Stays matte, hides fine lines and imperfections. Just perfect. If you won't make it anymore, could you at least provide the formula? I'd seriously make the clear version myself as a home project, while still using the black shine killer. Please consider this.

New Charcoal Formula is AWFUL
The previous Shine Killer primer formula was clear and worked wonders! Kept me matte all day, while also hydrating any dry area I did have. This new formula might keep you matte for the most part, BUT if any part of your skin it DRY OR FLAKEY, the BLACK WILL CLING TO THOSE AREAS. The new formula leaves a slight shadow hue on your face that CAN BE SEEN UNDER MAKEUP. You’ll notice it most around the upper lip and chin where shadows are common in different lighting. I JUST WANT THE CLEAR SHINE KILLER PRIMER BACK.

Needs improvements
If you have oily complexion or a combo on oily side this product works amazingly. But because it’s a black primer it gets into the pores and makes your skin look dirty and smudged. Someone in other review mentioned looking like you spend time in a chimney and that is correct. It could work maybe if you wear foundation, but for us who don’t need any color coverage but want to control that shine unfortunately it’s not the best choice. I wish NYX would remove the color on this product so we could use it.

Looks like I've been in a chimney!
You must spend time making absolutely sure that all of this product is vigorously rubbed into your skin or the black charcoal powder will literally look like chimney dust on your face. Even after you rub it in, the charcoal does impart a hazy gray hue that looks corpse-like. This was such a colossal formulation fail.
